We're going all out on Christmas in this week's Days Out With Skiddle. The big day isn't too far away now and we have an excellent selection of events to get you all warmed up and feeling the spirit of the season. We also have a couple of exciting sporting events for you to take a look at two, with one featuring a boxing legend.
When: Saturday 9th December
Where: Rainton Arena, Houghton-le-Spring
The big man himself will be at Rainton Arena this coming Saturday and he'll be making further appearances too across the buildup to Christmas. Give your kids an experience they won't forget in an event packed full of festive fun.
When: Wednesday 6th - Sunday 24th December
Where: The Fort Perch Rock, Wallasey
You've heard of Santa having a grotto but what about a castle? He'll be bringing the magic of Christmas to New Brighton, with the grounds being transformed into a Winter wonderland. You'll not only get a chance to see Santa but other famous Christmas characters such as The Grinch.

Fern & Ruscus x Gost - Festive Wreath Masterclass
When: Sunday 10th December
Where: Gost, Glasgow
The Christmas period is a great excuse to learn a new skill. How about dedicating some time to wreath. making? Here, you'll learn all the tips and tricks that'll have you arranging a beautiful arrangement. Even better, you'll be greeted with prosecco and canapés will be served too.

Married at First Sight - Luke Worley vs Jordan Gayle

Where: Indigo at the O2, London
In an event sponsored by Skiddle, a TV beef will soon be settled as Married At First Sights' Luke Worley and Jordan Gayle will be stepping into the ring down at Indigo at the O2. Many of the series' cast will be there to watch too as these two squash their beef once and for all.
Aurie Styla's Christmas CrackUp

Aurie Styla will be putting on a small midweek show in London just before Christmas. If you fancy one last evening of laughs for the year, no one will be better to see than Aurie. There will be prizes to give away too, as the audience will be fully involved.
An Evening With Ricky 'The Hitman' Hatton

Where: Portobello Town Hall, Edinburgh
Ricky Hatton is a man with quite a story to tell, having been at the top of boxing. A winning streak of 43 successive victories was only stopped by Floyd Mayweather. He'll have plenty of fascinating insights into his career to discuss at this event in Edinburgh.
