We have a wide mixture of events for you to enjoy on this week's Days Out With Skiddle as we head into 2024, a new year where anything could happen. Get some plans in for the rest of the year, there's live comedy, a tattoo show, whisky tasting and more for you to get stuck into.

Where: ExCel, London
The Big London Tattoo Show returns in 2024 and it'll be packed full of tattoo artists whose work you can explore. There will be over 450 of them from across the world, all who have their own unique styles for you to get inspiration from.

Where: Southport Comedy Festival, Victoria Park, Southport
It feels as though Chris McCausland has been everywhere recently and this year he'll be performing plenty of live shows too. He'll be performing at the Southport Comedy Festival with his brand new show Yonks which has apparently been in the works for years.

Where: The Manor House, Tunbridge Wells
A rave for all the family is coming to Tunbridge Wells this January to end the month on an exciting note. The live DJs will be playing the best tunes from the 90's and the early 2000's to give you a dose of nostalgia. The young ones will be able to get involved in face painting, balloon drops, bubble machines and much more.

Burns Night Whisky Tasting at Blue Collar Corner

Where: Blue Collar Corner, Reading
Burns Night isn't far away now and you can mark the occasion by attending this whisky tasting experience at Blue Collar Corner in Reading. Six high-quality single malt whiskies will be available for you to try, selected by the local whisky expert Richard McKeand.

An Evening With Karl-Heinz Rielde

Where: Hotel Anfield, Liverpool
This time we head to Liverpool for a conversation with a legend as Karl-Heinz Rielde will be at Hotel Anfield to discuss his career with club journalist James Pearce of The Athletic. There will be a chance to meet and greet as well as a live Q+A with the retired professional.

You can learn all about the art of graffiti at this class, a two hour session that will teach you the basic skills and techniques of the trade. You will get to design your own work and then create a 3x3 poster to take away and be proud of.

This is the award-winning musical Priscilla Queen of the Desert as a party. Here, you'll be encouraged to dance around in an intimate environment which will be transformed into the Australian outback for a few months. Make sure you brush up on your disco moves.

In The Mood For Love with Riot String Quartet
When: Wednesday 14th February
Where: Hare and Hounds Kings Heath, Birmingham
The Hare and Hounds will be putting this special event on in time for Valentine's Day, where they will be screening In The Mood For Love, an iconic 1960s film representing love in Hong Kong. It will be shown silent, with the space taken. up by the Riot String Quartet who will be scoring the film right before your eyes.

Jerry Sadowitz: Comedian, Magician, Psychopath
When: Tuesday 19th March
Where: The Wardrobe, Leeds
Jerry Sadowitz, the magician/comedian can do a bit of everything and he is known for his outrageous style. So, it seems as though anything could come here as he heads to The Wardrobe with his latest standup show.
