The young singer-songwriter is set for a blistering year and visits Birmingham's Hare and Hounds, as well as the Cookie in Leicester, during his tour of the UK.

Declan McKenna kick-starts what is set to be a momentous year in the young singer-songwriter's career with a run of shows across the UK. After winning the 2015 Glastonbury Emerging Talent Competition, the teenager has been on an upward trajectory; dropping singles such as 'Isombard' (below) and 'Brazil' along the way.
The BBC Sound of 2017 longlister visits Birmingham's Hare and Hounds on Wednesday 25th January, as well as Leicester's The Cookie on Tuesday 24th January.
The latter is part of Independent Venue Week which takes place up and down the country between Monday 23rd and Sunday 29th January and features performances from Tim Burgess, Beans On Toast and heaps more.
