Hi Guys

Please put this time and date in your diaries.

23/08/2014  from 12pm until 6pm

The Dercum's disease and Rare Disease Foundation UK (1154613) are hosting their first (of many?)  Superhero themed Family Funday.

The DDRD Foundation was initially founded in late 2012 to help raise awareness of Dercum's disease and other rare genetic diseases and to help raise funds towards genetic research into the cause and hopefully eradication (eventually) of these diseases, due to the supposed rarity of these illnesses sufferers go largely ignored ans simply filled with painkillers, well the DDRDFoundation wish to change that. We know that success and funding isnt going to come straight away, however if we make enough noise and garner enough support eventually people will set up and take notice.
The Foundation have held events in the past, from simple tabletop sales to Paranormal events, but this is the biggest and most ambitious event we have undertaken. It has been amazing how many people have taken us to their hearts and shown their support, it has been amazing. We really want to repay them and we need this day to be the success it deserves to be.

on the day we have music supplied by Cool Sounds a local company from St. Osyth who were one of the first to show support.

We have some of the guys from Team Kinetix acrobatix, Parcour and gymnastic specialists who have appeared on Britains got talent among other TV shows.

We have the guys from the Eelhouse Pie'N'Mash supplying traditional East London cuisine

Kyra's Bouncy Castles bringing both adult and children's inflatables

Their will be traditional craft stalls, face painting, mediumship, vocalists  traditional fairground stalls and even facials. there will be photography stalls and many many more.

so, you can see the support we have gained and are still building on.

This foundation is still in it's infancy, but we are growing older and wiser, very, very quickly.

We would love to see you on the day, whether a stall holder or a visitor.
