Derrick Carter and Michael Mayer to play Micron

Micron has confirmed that Mantra Warehouse in Manchester will house the second instalment of its 10th birthday celebrations on Friday 4th November.

With Ame and Magda already announced for a Liverpool party on Friday 23rd September to mark the milestone, the team behind Micron have matched the standard with part two, bringing more of house and techno's key players to the North West.

Sticking with the theme of three hour sets, extended offerings from Chicago house pioneer Derrick Carter and Kompakt stalwart Michael Mayer have been secured for the landmark event. 

Derrick Carter's involvement with the scene has been both prolific in regards to productions, and influential thanks to his standout sets that transcend and inspire.   

Mayer, who hasn't played in Manchester for seven years, helped establish a core record label in the form of Kompakt and consistently flies the flag for Germany's dance scene around the globe, oozing charisma and passion.
