Dot To Dot Festival, taking place in Manchester, Bristol and Nottingham from May 22nd to 24th has added more acts to its already revealed billing of under-the-radar live music (see that here).
After capturing the gong for 'Best Metropolitan Festival in 2013', we have come to expect a lot from the inner city experience and once again they have delivered with a further instalment of cutting edge alternative acts.
Californian surf rock twosome Best Coast are the first of those. They'll cut the live stage with their latest lo-fi effort 'Californian Nights' propelled by the sumptuous vocal of songwriter and lead vocalist Beth Consentino - hear that below.
Joining them is Scottish synth pop ensemble Prides with Swim Deep also in full effect, running through their melodic songbook of hazy shoegaze guitar. Concluding the announcement is British rock n roll success story Fat White Family renowned for their outrageous live shows, who where remarkably formed in a squat in Peckham.
They join the bulk of the already announced acts that include indie chart voyager Saint Raymond, Rae Morris, Hudson Taylor, The Wytches and a wealth more of genre pulses that are emerging at the forefront of the alternative ladder. Bag your tickets for the Manchester leg here.
