Dr Robert of the Blow Monkeys heads out on UK tour

The frontman of iconic 80s new wave pop group The Blow Monkeys, Dr Robert embarks on a tour of the UK. Although still touring with his band, Roberts has since had a successful solo career spanning over two decades. His folky sound differs from the synth-pop elements heard in The Blow Monkeys, offering a more stripped back and raw aesthetic.

Having collaborated with Beth Orton and Terry Callier as well as produced an album of duets with soul legend PP Arnold, Robert's solo venture boasts an impressive back catalogue of over ten albums. His most recent release, 2016's Out There, comes four years which he comes to showcase on this upcoming tour.
