Bass connoisseurs Arisezon London are to bring dub icon Aba Shanti-I to EartH Hackney on Saturday 28th December, for what is set to be an earth moving end-of-year experience.

'Jasmine Joe', aka Aba Shanti-I, started out as an MC back in the eighties with London's original dub steppa sound system crew, Jah Tubbys. Since then, he's embraced a Rastafarian way of life, travelling across Europe for the best part of three decades with his self-titled 'Aba Shanti-I Sound System', reverberating riddims off the walls of dancehalls across the continent.

He's also a skilful producer, having remixed tracks for numerous artists and record labels, such as Dub Syndicate's 'Jamaican Jig', and a regular resident at Notting Hill Carnival (a popular one at that).

Here he is warming up the crowds at Notting Hill Carnival back in 1998...

Join the mighty Aba Shanti-I on December 28th (8pm to 2am), for another full on tuff-out session.
