Legendary art-funk outfit ESG play four select UK dates in September, in what will be a rare chance to witness them in the flesh.
With their innovative approach to music that's seen them merge genres spanning post-punk to new wave, the band have garnered air tight status as one of the most influential bands to emerge from the Bronx.
Their music spans way beyond their catchment of songs, having been sampled endlessly since the seventies. To this day they've managed to attain the same peak form that seen them infiltrate venues such as The Paradise Garage and The Music Box - two pivotal clubs during the birth of house music in Chicago.
To catch the celebrated outfit waxing cult hits like 'Dance' (above), you'll find them in Bristol, Brighton, Liverpool and London.
UK tour dates below:
Bristol - Fiddlers, Thursday 24th September
Brighton - Sticky Mike's Frog Bar, Friday 25th September
London - Oval Space, Saturday 26th September
Liverpool - Kazimier, Sunday 27th September (Ticketed below)
