Leeds' post-punkers Eagulls have dropped new track 'Lemontrees' from their forthcoming second album.
It's the first new song from the band since their self-titled debut. Fronted by enduring front-man George Mitchell, the quintet's inaugural LP turned the heads of many with its visceral and brutish outlay.
Opting for a more melodic sound harnessed by shoegaze atmospherics, 'Lemontrees' (listen above) marks a prospering progression for the band. They embark on a run of intimate dates in March that veer away from the usual tour stops.
UK dates below:
Bristol - Fiddlers, Thursday 3rd March
Norwich - Arts Centre, Friday 4th March
Aldershot - West End Centre, Saturday 5th March
Leicester - Oddfellows Club, Thursday 10th March
Salford- Islington Mill, Friday 11th March
