Simon Shackleton (aka Elite Force) and Mark Pember (Meat Katie) are joining forces this weekend for what promises to be an incredible journey into the deep, driving, dirty and deadly side of their musical canon.

Both of these legends of the underground can boast 20 years of experience each, with a whole slew of festival headline appearances, awards and prestigious movie licenses between them. They've both run highly successful & influential labels (Whole9Yards, Fused & Bruised, Lot49, U&A Recordings and Stereophoenix), topped the Beatport Charts on multiple occasions and boast massive followings across the world, where they've played headline shows in countries as diverse as the UK, China, Kazakstan, Australia, Canada, America, Russia, Korea, New Zealand, Spain ... you name it, they've nailed it.

This London show heralds something different. Simon launched his Stereophoenix imprint a few months ago now to cater for the deeper side of his musical output, and it's rapidly gone from strength to strength with it's trademark progressive techno and deeper house sounds, often described as the 'Sound of the Sunrise'. Recently he's been performing a series of global shows under the banner of The One Series, a series of nights featuring just One DJ, One Room, All Night. His 6-hour set from the Nutz camp at Burning Man last year is a great example of what these entail, and a good pointer to what to expect on Saturday night.

Also hand-picked for the night is Mike Hulme from Stereophoenix / U&A who's coming down from Manchester for it. He has an amazing track, Salt Lake, coming out before long on Stereophoenix, which is simply awesome - clocking in at over 10 minutes long and running at 115bpm, it's pure class - psychedelic chuggy business. Check out a recent set from Mike as recorded at Simon's own Forcefields Festival last summer.

Also up for 6 hours in Room Two is Bearweasel, aka Dean Muhsin, well know for his deep house and techno excursions, and well known for his uber-cool releases on Tsuba, NeverLearnt & Work Them. He'll be playing mainly off vinyl on the night - it'll be a great education ? his sets always are!
