Don’t Pretend - ALISHA
ALISHA, a name that’s consistently rising more and more each day, dropped her new EP The Beginning last Friday on her own new label UNLÍSH.
With ‘Don’t Pretend’ as the opening track, we thought we’d add this one to the playlist so you can dive into the rest of the four-track EP if you like what you hear. With a wavy bassline, a simple but effective and memorable vocal sample, and perky percussion, the track is a belter.
ALISHA’s label UNLÍSH will also be a party brand, so if you like this EP, keep an eye out for UNLÍSH party announcements!

Fashion Week - Warmduscher
A little weird and a lot brilliant, Warmduscher is back with a new track. The band has announced their newest album Too Cold To Hold, their first full-length project, featuring Irvine Welsh, Lianne La Havas, and Confidence Man’s Janet Planet.
The album is scheduled to release on the 15th of November. For now, we’ve got this new single to sink our teeth into. And we’re more than happy with that. A little unusual, as are just about all Warmduscher tracks, the snarling guitars, almost spoken word vocals, and group vocals on it are brilliant.
It’s funky, it’s got us giddy for the full release, it’s perfect.

Real Hot - Anais, Sweetie Irie, Naomi Cowan
Back with two heavy hitters in reggae, Sweetie Irie and Naomi Cowan, DnB star Anais brings us ‘Real Hot’, a lively track that radiates positivity and energy.
The title accurately reflects the sound of this track as it is, indeed, real hot. Released on Hospital Records, it seems the ‘Never Seen Never Heard’ and ‘Headshot’ producer just keeps getting better with each release.
The flute in this one, particularly that section that starts at 22 seconds in, is just levels above. Fun and incredibly well produced, it’s a certified banger for sure.

Dreambend - Kessoncoda
West London’s Kessoncoda is a duo that creates heavenly jazz that’s heavily influenced by other genres including electronic, rock, ambient, and film soundtracks.
Radiohead is a key part of Kessoncoda’s diet, as demonstrated on this track, ‘Dreambed’, which is taken from the group's new debut Outerstate. The ten-track album dropped on Friday and features plenty of lush soundscapes.
We added this particular track to the playlist as we could see just about any kind of music fan falling in love with that cello, saxophone, piano, and drums.
