Bump Artist - SOSA

Three months after dropping his track ‘BLOW (WHITE GIRL IN TOWN), SOSA dropped three-track EP Bump Artist, and the title track is our fave.

Released on his COCO label, ‘Bump Artist’ grabs you right away with that infectious bassline. Effortlessly cool and straddling the fence between energetic and quite chill, we’ve got a versatile track that’d work just as well at a rave as it would while you’re cleaning your house.

Grab tickets to see SOSA below - he’ll be all over the UK in the next few months!

The Times - She's In Parties

Taken from the band’s forthcoming EP Puppet Shadow, due for release on 25th October, ‘The Times’ is about modern musicians' frustrations with social media.

Lead vocalist and guitarist Katie said, “This song is about my internal battle with this new era of social media we live in. The lyrics “rewrite your mind” pretty much just mean that I need to rethink what I thought being a musician was like and get with “the times”. If I don’t do it, somebody else will.

“One voice tells me they can “take it all away” if we don’t use social media to try and make it as a band. Another voice tells me to “rewrite” my mind, so maybe it’s not so bad to use this new tool of promotion.”

Games - DJ Marky remix

Brazilian drum and bass legend DK Marky is back with a remix of 'Games' by Mat Zo. opting for a more percussive sound, this one’s a head-bobber from start to finish.

It’s hard to remix ‘Games’. It’s already a stunner. But Marky just about pulls it off, giving us a more energetic cut that almost instantly makes you want to move. A legend in the game who keeps putting out banger after banger, we’re in awe of Marky’s skills.

Good Things Happen - Matt Wilde

Not the first time we’ve added a Matt Wilde track to the playlist! The Manchester musician and producer has gifted us ‘Good Things Happen’, the third and final single from his upcoming EP It’s A Delight, which should be with us on 11th October.

Dreamy and a bit lo-fi with a cool and confident trumpet taking the lead, it’s only a matter of time before Matt Wilde gets the flowers he deserves. Smooth with some almost swung piano parts, Wilde has dropped another heavenly one.

Get comfy, stick this on, and ascend.
