Have no fear, as by the end of this, you'll be armed with all the information you need to be an expert on this year's tournament.
Where is Euro 2024?
It was announced back in 2018 that Germany would be hosts of EURO 2024, beating off competition from Turkey. A mighty footballing nation, Germany have won the competition three times, the last of which came in 1996. Some of the most iconic stadiums from across German football will be used throughout the tournament, including the BVB Stadion Dortmund, the Frankfurt Arena, Allianz Arena and the final will be held at the Olympiastadion Berlin.
Who are the favourites?
According to Opta, England are the favourites for the tournament and the national team are in a great place at the moment having the players of the season in the Bundesliga, La Liga and Premier League with Harry Kane, Jude Bellingham and Phil Foden respectively. It should be mentioned that France are seen as having only 0.8% less of a chance than England, meaning that the tournament is expected to be very close.
Germany, Spain and Portugal are the other most fancied sides, with teams such as Albania, Georgia and Slovakia given pretty much no chance of winning the tournament.
Where can I buy tickets?
Tickets for the group stages are no longer available, however if that changes then you can visit the UEFA website here. This is also where knockout stage tickets will be available from June 23rd. You will need an account to purchase tickets.
