Established as the prime protagonists in underground music in Liverpool, Evol have announced their first wave of acts to steal the limelight across a variety of the city's cultured spaces in 2015.
They break their 2015 duck by welcoming Lola Colt's smoky aesthetic and sharp guitar lines to The Magnet on Friday 20th February. The same day brings five piece The Sundowners, continuing to sculpt inroads outside of the city with their rock n roll leanings, a mere stones throw away at The Kazimier - head here for tickets to that.
One of the most anticipated appearances across the city's musical calendar comes from Glass Animals on Friday 13th March, again in the Kazimier. Well tipped to set the festival scene alight, their indie tinged tribal electronica has emanated the likes of 'Gooey' - watch the video for that above.
The venue continues its rich vein of form as Foxygen bring an experimental rock dynamic with an LA zest on Thursday 7th May. Genre hoppers and Mercury Music Prize winners Young Fathers, loosely inhabiting the the alternative hip hop mould, hit up the space on Sunday 7th June with their sound that has just about every critic purring.
