Earlier this month we announced our proud partnership with Fair Few Miles, one of the audacious charity fundraising feats we’ve ever encountered! The team made up of ordinary guys and girls will be taking on a challenge that includes climbing three of the United Kingdom’s highest peaks, kayaking 120 miles down the Thames AND cycling a total of 1040 miles - its exhausting even thinking about it.
The team volunteering have commenced their gruelling training regime in the last few days involving a taster 35 miles kayak excursion, setting of from the Radford Bank Pub in Stafford at 6am and paddling up stream to Wood End Lock and back again. With more preparations underway for the massive main event, you can get sponsoring the guys now through Skiddle, or the Fair Few Miles website.
The event will be taking place In support of Children With Cancer UK, a charity that has become a major force in paediatric oncology. Specialising in funding research, improved treatments and support for children suffering with cancer as well as their families, Children With Cancer UK has become an essential component in improving the lives of seriously ill children.
Almost every ticket you buy through Skiddle comes with the option to donate to this incredibly worthy cause. For more information on Fair Few Miles and other ways to donate head to their website here: www.fairfewmiles.co.uk
