In what was already Uber's most ambitious project to date (read about it here), Sunday 24th August was set to see dance music giants MK, James Zabiela, Todd Terry, Riva Starr and Tom Flynn (read our recent interview with him) all descend on Carlisle's The Venue for a ridiculous all day rave up.
Tonight sees that line up get even further bolstered with the Brighton beatsmith Fatboy Slim hooked in to really make this Uber's most essential party yet, creating an extra date for the fun.
The addition of the iconic electronic wizard therefore sees the Uber Day and Nighter become the Uber Weekender, with Norman Cook taking centre stage on Saturday 23rd August flanked by Uber's accomplished residents.
As one of the country's most celebrated DJs, Fatboy Slim will be primed to tear through his usual selection of classics, re imagined oddities, and bang up to date hot stuff in his own rabble rousing, high octane manner (witness some of that in his Mixmag set above).
There's a reason that he's been responsible for penning some of the most seminal dance music records of our generation, and the Carlisle ravers are about to experience some of that unrivaled dance floor know-how first hand on August 23rd. All the original guests will play on the Sunday as previously announced.
And best of all, tickets are staying at £35, so if you already have a ticket, you can now see Fatboy Slim in action as an added bonus. New buyers too get the full weekend for the same handsome fee. Grab your tickets for the weekender here.
