American folk hero Father John Misty (aka Joshua Tillman) has announced a special one-off gig in July at Liverpool University's Mountford Hall.
The former Fleet Foxes drummer became one of 2015's emerging stars following the release of the outstanding I Love You, Honeybear, which has proved something of a revelation for those fans awaiting the return of Seattle's folk rock favourites.
Recalling seventies singer-songwriters like Harry Nilsson and Randy Newman while also doffing its cap to the Elton John's Goodbye Yellow Brick Road, I Love You Honeybear (watch the video to the title track above) has even led to the bearded wonder being nominated for the International Male Solo Artist award at this year's Brits.
Father John Misty plays the newly refurbished Mountford Hall on Saturday 16th July - tickets available via the box below
