Father John Misty removes Taylor Swift covers after Lou Reed appears in dream

Do you know when you have one of those dreams that Lou Reed pops up in handcuffed to supermodels with adopted babies on a catwalk and he just happens to tell you to remove those Taylor Swift covers you uploaded on your soundcloud the previous day? Didn't think so, unless you're Father John Misty of course...

We didn't make that up by the way, John Tillman aka Father John Misty genuinely penned it on a facebook post and quite frankly it's up there with Mr Cameron allegedly getting jiggy with a deceased pig. 

As the story goes, Misty, unveiled covers from Taylor Swift's 1989 album on soundcloud with the devilish note, "My reinterpretation of the classic Ryan Adams album 1989." 

So with that came Father John Misty's well executed rework of 'Blank Space' in the style of The Velvet Underground. A stroke of genuine satirical genius (listen below).

Both songs were later deleted.

Now, what follows is a piece of utter madness. Some may dispute its authenticity, but either way when was the last time you were walking like a crab through New Orleans? You couldn't make this shit up, surely:
