Fear-Fest returns to the eerie Magna Science and Adventure Park on Saturday 1st November to raise a scarily good house and bass line up for a special Halloween party.
Fear-Fest is the ultimate Halloween mini-festival and each year they've aimed to expand and improve their production and selection of artists to ensure that attendees get their fix of fright as well as a proper party. Feat-Fest are launching the new Fear House Project this year alongside the event for those craving a truly terrifying experience.
Within the park in Rotheram ravers will be spoiled for choice with a mammoth 3 arenas. Headlining Arena One is Shadow Child. Since the formerly known Dave Spoon made the change to the alias, his music career has reached monumental new heights. His accessible, bass-driven sound has secured himself an army of fans and even his own label, Food Music.
Joining Shadow Child is Friend Within. His refix of Renegade Master (check it out above) catapulted him onto prime time radio and his distinguishable style has secured him releases on dirtybird, Hypercolour and Method Music. Sticking with the theme of artists that have rapidly risen through the ranks, Fear-Fest have called in UK based duo Tough Love.
Also stepping behind the decks in Arena One is Monki. Anything goes when she's in control, from old school classics to fresh house and garage, Monki knows how to get a crowd moving. Bass connoisseur Low Steppa will also be headed to Fear-Fest. He's been working under various guises for years and continues to release cutting edge music.
Zinc will be headlining over at Arena Two. The internationally renowned drum and bass and breaks artist has worked through pretty much every genre in order to discover and established his own personal sound.
Cause & Affect, the duo consisting of Chris Lorenzo and Kane, have been successfully merging house, bassline and garage with their own unique flare since their inception into the scene as a twosome (check out the remix of Zinc's track above) and their chemistry behind the decks is contagious.
The line up for Arena Three is yet to be announced but Fear-Fest have revealed it will a retro house and classic garage affair. To view the full line up for the mini-festival this year and to get your tickets head here.
