From dance music Meccas to intimate live music weekenders, wherever you chose to indulge in your festival needs, an outfit is always one of the key things to consider before you begin your merriment and mischief. Prepare for the mud, prepare for the heat and prepare for chafing.
Next in our Festival Fashion series is one of our favourite acts in the world of electro house - Dyro. The Dutch native is further confirmation that there is definitely something in the water in the Netherlands which turns budding young DJs into international superstars - destined to tour the world and play the best festivals (including Tomorrowland below)
Ahead of ColoursFest in Glasgow, where Dyro will play with the likes of Blasterjaxx, Laidback Luke, Gareth Emery and Thomas Gold, we asked him a few key questions on festival rig-outs and his style influences.
What three items of clothing do you take to every festival?
Mudproof sneakers (ones I don’t mind to ruin),
Comfortable joggers,
And some headwear to block out the sun during showtime.
Who is your ultimate fashion icon?
Rick Owens.

And your ultimate wardrobe staple?
Physical Novel Joggers.
What's the most expensive item you have bought?
Rick Owens SS16 Sock Sneakers.
What's the item of clothing you're most embarrassed about? (That you'll admit)
I used to wear thermal underwear during winter when I had to bike to school.
Does anything annoy you about what people wear at festivals?
I'd like to see more individuality among people. Other than that I think people should be free to wear whatever they want.
Finally, you can go on the lash (get drunk!) and go clothes shopping with any three historical figures with an unlimited budget. Who are you taking and what will you all end up wearing at the end?
Albert Einstein, William Shakespeare, Martin Luther King. The perfect mix between classy elegance and fashionable.
If you want to see Dyro in action, tickets for ColoursFest 2016 are available from the box below.
