With festival season fast approaching, we'll be focusing our attention on some of this year's most eagerly awaited festivals from the far flung corners of the country. This week we find ourselves at Norwich's Norfolk Showground, for the upcoming return of Sundown Festival.
Now entering it's fourth installment, the former Norfolk Spectacular, now known affectionately as Sundown, has been making a habit of enticing some of the biggest names in pop and electronic music to its Norwich home.
This year alone sees the likes of drum and bass crossover duo Chase & Status (who also play Bestival this summer), grime pop king Tinie Tempah, Brit Award favourite Ellie Goulding, burgeoning soul singer John Newman and Radio One's new music authority Zane Lowe take centre stage.
Sundown Festival 2014 also features an impressive dance music line up that follows in the vein other festivals like Creamfields, SW4 or GlobalGathering, albeit on a more intimate scale. House music veteran turned deep house scene leader MK heads things up, with Dirtybird Records favourite Breach also in tow, whilst Ram Records representatives Andy C and Wilkinson provide a blistering drum n bass showcase.
With a reliably up for it younger crowd, Sundown is one of the most energetic, feel-good festivals on the circuit. Head here for more on Sundown Festival.
