The sublime Portmeirion festival is set for return September 1st-4th, bringing back a banquet of cultural offerings to the unique Welsh town. Watch 2014's highlights below.
Its celebrated blend of music, poetry, spoken word, and talks consistently delivers the most engrossing of festival experiences, with Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds, Hot Chip and Bastille slated to headline this year's edition. There's also a special tribute to the Thin White Duke himself - David Bowie Reimagined performed by the Manchester Camerata Orchestra and composed by Joe Duddell, with special guest vocalists appearing for each track.
Other musical highlights come from C Duncan, Django Django, Echo and The Bunnymen, Lucy Rose, Roots Manuva and Roisin Murphy amongst more. The electronic music line up is beastly too, with Andrew Weatherall and Sean Johnson's A Love From Outer Space, Craig Charles, Joy Orbison, Kate Simko & The London Electronic Orchestra, Optimo and The 2 Bears just added. Head here for the full Festival Number 6 line up.
