Greg Wilson's Super Weird Substance launched as a record label earlier in the summer, providing a home for a wealth of Balearic, psychedelic, dub, funk, boogie and disco sounds. Now two records in the imprint already boasts a cult following. The label will enjoy a Super Weird showcase at Portmeirion's Festival Number 6 on the Estuary Stage on Saturday 5th September.
The edit king himself fronts the line up, with Black Grape's Kermit Leveridge flanking him. The all-day event will star music as well as spoken word and poetry, with legendary author Howard Marks also making an appearance.
Blind Arcade, The Super Weird Society and label favourite Luxxury (check out his sun-drenched remix of 'Summer Came My Way' above) are all present and correct, as are John Higgs, Daisy Eris Campbell and many more.
