Weyfest can certainly boast one of the most original settings for a festival. Situated in the midst of the picturesque Surrey hills, the family friendly festival takes place in the Rural Life Centre, a working museum setting compete with artifacts from the last 150 years of, well, rural life - making for an unusual but overwhelmingly brilliant backdrop for its reliably top notch blues and rock line ups.

This year's line up sees Weyfest continue to showcase some of the finest bands from yesteryear along with brand new talents, and under the radar up and comers, largely focusing it efforts on rock, blues, soul and funk.

Held across three nights from Friday 29th - Sun 31st August, watch out for headline slots from Squeeze (check out their timeless tale of inner city strife 'Up the Junction' below), Brit Award nominees The Feeling, long serving soft rockers 10cc and Scottish troubadours Big Country.

There will also be an appearance from electronica trailblazers The OrbCockney knees-up specialists Chas & Dave, and the creators of John Peel's favourite record ever The Undertonesas Weyfest continues to embrace a wickedly varied musical programme. This year also sees the long awaited return of Jethro Tull's Ian Anderson.

With plenty of amusements, workshops and activities for people of all ages (including a train that runs through the site), and perhaps the most luxurious toilets on the festival circuit, Weyfest is clearly gearing up for another unforgettable year.

Those that like their festival free from stress, easy going, and super relaxed (check out the promo video above) need look no further. Grab your Weyfest tickets here.
