Festive feasts: Dining events happening this December

Tis the season to treat yourself. You’ve dealt with a million lockdowns, expertly chosen the best Christmas presents, somehow tolerated the British government and now the holidays are here. It’s time to show yourself some appreciation for the tough year you’ve had. 

How could you go wrong with food? Taking that first bite and feeling the flavours almost fizzling on your tongue. Every bite is just as good as the last but in different ways as you explore new flavour combinations. When you finish you lie back, rub your tummy, and feel… content. A Night with the Bierkeller Schunklers

When: Thursday 23rd December 

Where: Yard and Beyond, Stourbridge

If the video is anything to go by, this might just be the best event on the list. The vibes are simply unbeatable, everyone has a laugh, there’s great music and food vendors so there are plenty of choices available. Tickets are just £25 each which includes entry, a stein of beer or a cocktail, food, a shot and fantastic live entertainment from the oompah band the Bierkeller Schunklers. Dom Bryan Brunch - Boxing Day

When: Sunday 26th December

Where: Lucarelli Restaurant (The Mailbox), Birmingham

At one of Birmingham’s newest, most luxurious Italian restaurants will be the Boxing Day brunch of a lifetime. Shake your way down to the Mailbox and burn off all those winter calories as Dom Bryan spins vibey tunes alongside Shaqfive, Charli C, Craig Reckless, Fourty, Keyrah, and Ayycee, while your host for the evening, MC Kie, keeps everyone feeling the tunes, the booze and the food. Sounds like a dream come true.

Christmas Party Nights

Go big or go home, right? It seems Players Lounge in Billericay, Essex takes the saying pretty seriously because there isn’t a single thing their huge Christmas Eve Eve party is missing. With a DJ, festive platters, live entertainment, an entire 60 minutes of unlimited prosecco, cocktails or beer, and even additional virtual golf simulator packages available, there isn’t much more they could squeeze into this fun-filled evening. Divas - A Drag Dining Experience

NYE at Hafla!

New Year’s Eve isn’t all about going out and regretting half the rubbish you said and waking up the next day feeling like you should be on life support. A civil, delicious, high-end meal sounds much better. Hafla Hafla is offering six mouth-watering courses for just £50 this NYE. The exact menu can be found on the event page but we’ll warn you, it’s unreal. Vegetarian options are available as is a wine pairing and special New Year’s Eve cocktails. To be honest, we’re considering it ourselves.
