Pop music legend and founder member of The Beach Boys, Brian Wilson, is set to perform his band's seminal 1966 record Pet Sounds at a huge open air show at Birmingham's Digbeth Arena this summer.
Taking place on Friday 24th August, Wilson is set to deliver the entire album which he co-wrote, arranged, and produced, and is considered one of the greatest albums ever made, ranking at number two on Rolling Stone's list of the 500 Greatest Records of all time.
By experimenting with a heap of instruments, recording styles and vocal layering, the album is as sophisticated as they come yet not in a way that alienated listeners and spawned mega hits such as 'Wouldn't It Be Nice', 'God Only Knows' and 'Sloop John B'. In essence; true pop perfection.
The summer bank holiday show offers a chance to see a genuine icon of popular music at his absolute best and you can find Brian Wilson Birmingham tickets from the box below.
