Hertfordshire duo Maribou State have unveiled details of UK live shows taking place later this year, where they are set to exhibit their firebrand of tropical synths and infectious grooves, with both breakthrough record Portraits and new cuts up their sleeve.
Signed to Counter Records, an imprint of UK independent label Ninja Tune, the duo have flexed their talents as brilliant beatmakers and slick samplers and it was 2015 when Maribou State first dropped the aforementioned Portraits, a gem of record that can light up sweaty clubs or glorious festival stages alike.
The pristine producers are coming to Leeds' Brudenell Social Club on Friday 12th October and O2 Academy 2 in Oxford on Tuesday 16th October, and Maribou State fans will have another chunk of new music to get their teeth stuck into ahead of that date with second album Kingdoms In Colour released on the 7th September - New single ‘Feel Good’ featuring Khruangbin above certainly bodes well for their next release.
