The initial names, promoters and commissions involved with this year's festival have been revealed.

Salford's celebration of new music, performance and art has announced the first selection of artists, promoters and commissions that will take part on Sunday 1st May at Chapel St, Salford.
Sounds From The Other City will welcome former Race Horses frontman Meilyr Jones and one of the most hotly tipped bands of 2016, Pumarosa. Other highlights include modern folk and avant garde star Laura Cannell (watch below) and Welsh pop-sensation Gwenno.
Leading local promoters hosting stages include Now Wave, Video Jam, Hey! Manchester, Tru Luv, Shambodie, Meat Free and The Beauty Witch.
Sounds From The Other City is part festival, street party, exhibition, rave and immersive architectural tour and will take over the likes of Salford Cathedral, disused railway arches and Paul Heaton’s Kings Arms pub.
