A brand new festival is arriving in Manchester this year. Summer Of Love will be taking place over August 21st-22nd and is being put on by Animal Crossing as a way to bring some of the best underground artists to the city. Having a history of putting on events at strange locations, they've chosen to use a renovated warehouse in the centre of Manchester for this festival.
Two days of music and arts will be on offer across three different stages. On Saturday Animal Crossing will be joining forces with Gottwood Festival and take over the Love Factory (main stage) and will be welcoming ZIP. The second stage will be headlined by Onur Ozer alongside Evan Baggs and Ethel.
Sunday sees the phenomenal ARPIAR come over to Manchester for the first time in over a decade and Dreamrec are promising mind-blowing visuals for their set which will feature a full 360 degrees experience. The festival also wants to have a community feeling and other connective experiences include yoga classes, a wellness area and a record fair where you can have a scroll through a wide selection of vinyl.
It's definitely going to be a unique addition to Manchester's festival circuit, full of artistic expression and some jaw-dropping live sets. Make sure that this isn't one that you miss. Tickets will be on sale Thursday 24th June and you can sign up to be notified below:
