One of the UK's biggest metropolitan festivals, Liverpool Sound City has confirmed the first wave of artists, which includes Peace, The Slow Readers Club and Ibibio Sound Machine.
Hitting the famous warehouses and event spaces around the Baltic Triangle and Cains Brewery, the much loved annual event will return back to its roots as it takes over venues in the city centre on Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th May 2018.
The Sound City line up so far also includes Idles and Jaws, with over 250 artists expected to be announced over the course of the next few months
Last year's billing boasted some of indie music's most respected names, including The Cribs, Metronomy, John Cale of Velvet Underground and The Human League, keeping up the festival's tradition of delivering world-class performances year on year.
