Rave season is well underway and with it brings an abundance of internationally renowned names, upcoming stars and crowd favourites, making it hard to decide which events to commit to (especially with Halloween on the calendar). So, to make things a little bit easier we've rounded up five acts that we think you need to make time for this month.
Last Halloween in Liverpool saw Papa Sven's internationally renowned techno brand Cocoon takeover the city's spookiest rave haunt - Newsham Park Hospital. The abandoned mental asylum was transformed by the team behind local club experts Cream and Freeze as a cluster of electronic powerhouses played to hundreds in the grounds around the listed building. It was so good in fact, that Sven Väth is returning on Saturday 29th October with more elongated grooves and hard-hitting obscurities.

If you're into your grime, you don't always have to see the main men live on stage to get your fix. Boy Better Know favourite Logan Sama delivers consistent, quick firing DJ sets brimming with grime, bass and garage, something he'll be bringing to Metropolis Halloween on Saturday 29th October at Canal Mills.

Ok, technically this is two DJs but with a back to back like this on the horizon it's hard to avert your attention away from what High Hoops have secured for the 15th October. This upcoming Manchester showcase will see Amsterdam's Rush Hour owner Antal play with label favourite Hunee. Prepare for soulful house grooves and obscure gems as the two have it out behind the decks.

When Nightvision teased its Legends event, the Edinburgh based club series went above and beyond with bringing an artist to the city who is wholly deserved of that title. The 'French Kiss' producer will arrive in Scotland on Saturday 22nd October for a night fuelled by quality Chicago house tracks.

More Halloween goodness is lined up in the form of a headline set from drum n bass superstar Wilkinson at The Rainbow Venues in Birmingham for The Haunting. The UK chart regular and RAM Records breakthrough success is known for his organ-rattling beats and all-conquering own productions - which will no doubt make an appearance at the spooky spectacular.
