With so many top acts hitting High House Farm in just four weeks time, we thought we'd let you in on what we are particularly looking forward to seeing come the 15th August. Fieldtrip's inaugural festival is not short on quality, making selecting a top five rather tricky. Still, we've had a bloody good try - see what you think of our choices below.

Ben UFO

Ben UFO was always going to be top of our list. The Hessle Audio co-founder has become one of the underground's most celebrated figures, despite never actually producing a record. He's one of the few that has gained notority purely through his skills as a DJ, a feat rarely achieved in the current climate.

His sets are a sublime mixture of full of bangers, curveballs, and obscurities that seamlessly explore innumerable genres and styles whilst always catering for the dancefloor. Hear some of that in his heady selection for Radio One's Essential Mix above.

Tristan Da Cunha

The Leeds native has been one of the cities most revered house music figures for some time now. His Back To Basics night has never put a foot wrong, with its purveying of real house music complete with old skool flavours making it one of the city's most adored raves.

His recent work with Brawther under the Dungeon meat moniker has seen him flex his might as a producer too, with 2013's 'The F**k Off Track' becoming one of the best selling and most repressed vinyl releases of the past few years. Expect a house music masterclass.

Boddika

The Nonplus boss and Swamp 81 mainstay is simply a master of dark and dirty dance music. His hybrid sound comprising of warehouse techno, caustic acid and meaty bass music is one of the most singular out there (hear that in 'Steam' above), whilst his work with Joy O has yielded some of the biggest underground hits of the past three or four years. Expect a mesmerizing, pummeling selection of techno and bass as he delivers a set crammed of dancefloor fire.

Tama Sumo

Fieldtrip adds a real touch of class with the inclusion of Panoramabar mainstay and Berghain favourite Tama Sumo. Her 20 plus years as a DJ have seen her peerless selection skills called in across the globe as her measured range of deep, funk heavy house, stripped back techno, Italo disco and off kilter acid continues to dazzle. Her freewheeling, vinyl only DJ set (watch her Boiler Room set for evidence) will be a surefire highlight of the weekend.

Alpines

Fieldtrip has plenty of live sets that we're looking forward to as well, with the likes of Dub Pistols, Nubiyan Twist and Mo Kolours all hitting the Ilkely festival.

One of the standouts for us though is the supreme talents of South London duo Alpines. Their rousing, soulful sensibilities complete with catchy pop hooks and retro drum tracks (witness that in No Other Love above) is sure to whip up a palpable, feel good frenzy that is not to be missed.
