We've filtered through the hordes of acts on offer at Love Saves The Day and picked out five acts you should certainly take in at the Bristol extravaganza.

Now we know that festival line ups these day can be quite demanding. Crossovers, due to the sheer mass of artists on offer, can often cause that dreaded festival headache, meaning you don't always get to see everyone you were hoping to.

Love Saves The Day could quite easily align with that notion, with the enormous variety of dance and live music on offer at the weekender. Whether you're overcome with hedonism at Paradiso, lapping up the main stage acts or chilling at the Bump Roller Disco, the festival has just about every base covered.

In order to help you out a bit and enhance your festival experience, we've cherry picked our five must see acts from across the musical spectrum that are sure to make your festival conquest a memorable one.

Tale Of Us

Where better to start things off than with the converted Berliners, Tale Of Us? Dealing in the city's primary currencys, house and techno, they head up Paradiso on the Saturday. Here they are, above, pulling from their usual prolific record box in an incredible showing at Nuits Sonores.

Four Tet

Keeping to the same stage on the Sunday, the formidable Four Tet keeps the track selection ripe with his inventory of electronic wonders, as evidenced above with his set at Paris' Pitchfork Music Festival.

It's hard to comprehend the stunningly diverse and jaw dropping soundscape he effortlessly stitches together without seeing him in action, and for that reason he makes it onto our LSTD bucket list.

Wiley

Taking things into distant territories from dance music, yet equally as invigorating, Boy Better Know kingpin Wiley hits up Apocalypso on the Sunday.

It has been a golden year for grime so far, and judging by the fruits of Wiley's Snakes & Ladders album (get a slice of it above with 'On a Level'), he will fortify that thought with his elite lyricism and presence when on stage.

Shamir

We're all about exposing new music to you spoilt souls, and we definitely recommend Shamir's unique beat making talents. Fusing a myriad of colourful sounds, evidenced in 'On The Regular' above, Shamir's route to the mainstream is clear, making her one of the most in demand acts on the festival circuit this year.

Âme

We couldn't pass the opportunity to signpost you towards the wizardry of Frank Wiedemann and Kristian Beyer's beautiful melodic techno project, who make up Âme. The duo have split for their respective projects, Frank handles the live shows with Kristian the DJ, and the latter will grace the Apocalypso stage on the Saturday.

Largely chipping away at the soulful sectors of electronic music, the Innervisions overlords are capable of layering a gripping set (as demonstrated above) beyond the capabilities of many in their field.

Love Saves The Day takes place at Muller Road Eastville from Saturday 23rd - Sunday 24th May and tickets are available via the dated links or the ticket box below.
