It goes without saying that Leeds and Reading operate at the pinnacle of alternative music, merging artists from every splinter of the spectrum to form a diverse sonic landscape for all to enjoy.
When scouring the trademark yellow poster, it's affirmative that you'll be drawn to the artists currently buzzing your headphones day-to-day.

In ode to our mission, we've squeezed in five live music acts, you may or may not have heard of, that we'll certainly be lining the front row for. And if you give us a shout, we'll keep a space for you there too.
LA's latest skater band on the block, Fidlar, are making waves at the moment with their punk-rooted garage rock that translates raucously onto the live stage. Annie Mac recently served up 'West Coast' from their upcoming album as her hottest record, and it's with this performance that you'll get to witness the full drop before anyone else.
This will be American Football's first UK festival appearance in the UK for 15 years; an opportunity not to be missed for music heads hooked on their sole album release that dropped in 1999. If you're slightly unfamiliar with the band, we cannot recommend them enough, even more so when you can return from the festival as one of the very rare few to have seen them.
Toronto five-piece Alvvays are currently lighting up the live circuit with their breezy surf rock melodies and lead Molly's joy oozing vocal. It's indie in its rawest form, openly accessible to any of you fine festival revellers looking to get in on the coolest bands etched onto the festival line up.
We're probably not the first to notice that Hippo Campus are quietly taking on the world while still at college from their home town in Minnesota. Carving up music well beyond their years, the indie pocketed youths combine jangly rhythms and jazzy guitar to culminate a sound that harks an amalgamation of Vampire Weekend and Little Comets.
Back with a horde of new material from new album Heirs, we recommend a feasting on the savvy guitar of And So I Watch You From Afar to usher you towards a new source of festival energy sourced out of the sublimely crafted guitar licks that frequent their sound.
It's impossible to comprehend the strength of their live show without seeing it for yourself, and it's for that reason that this is banker when in search of the ultimate guitar led experience.
