Lancaster’s premium music festival Highest Point is making its anticipated return to Williamson Park this May. With the lineup out and the dates set in stone, it’s time to start planning who you’re seeing and when, and you’d be forgiven for not being fully in the know about some of the hidden gems scattered throughout the lineup.
From indie rising stars raised on the doorsteps of Williamson Park to house auteurs and genre-bending talent, there are plenty of gems to sink your teeth into in this year’s Highest Point roster. We’ve put together a list of the five best acts you should be looking out for at this year’s Highest Point Festival, so you can tell your friends you saw them before they hit the big time!
ADMT

Hailing from Doncaster, ADMT is a genre-hopping rising star who offers infectious pop hits tinged with R&B. Thanks to a series of eye-catching covers scattered across social media, Adam Taylor caught the eyes and ears of influencers and music fans alike.
Ever since first hitting the airwaves in 2020, ADMT has been connecting with millions of fans online, hit the festival circuit and had sold out shows in London, Manchester, Leeds and Sheffield. His emotionally charged and energetic tunes are a perfect match for the sun-soaked good vibes of Highest Point.
You can catch ADMT’s infectious Northern charm at the Main Stage on Saturday 11th May.

Head-spinning groove master and events collective founder Binx has become a festival favourite after his two closing sets on the Sundial stage at last year’s Highest Point. As he prepares for an earlier set in this year’s edition, he’ll surely rise to new heights.
Based in Manchester, Binx has never been afraid to dip his toes in different genres, but is most renowned for his drum and bass efforts while recently delving into the darker side of garage. His signature style features fast-paced, technical mixing and grooves galore. Along with his own tunes, Binx is a founder of Mancunian events collective Mukes, who provide the best bass-boosting mushroom-themed parties around.
For some quality skank and grooves, you can catch Binx at the Chris Glaba Memorial Stage on Friday 10th May.

A gifted and versatile artist, Issey Cross has been tweaking and improving her sound ever since she introduced herself to the masses with her 2021 debut single ‘Who’. Her sound is a cauldron of pop, rock and DnB, carrying her life experiences and observations in a trojan horse of dancefloor-filling bangers.
Since her Wilkinson collaboration ‘Used To This’ raised her profile considerably, Issey continues to impress. Her latest single ‘Bittersweet Goodbye’ is a perfect prelude to her Highest Point performance, while the Loud LDN member’s signature grungy and funky look gives her that extra star quality. She’ll be busy making the Chris Glaba Memorial Stage her own on Friday 10th May.

Catchy and kinetic indie anthems are the speciality of local talent George Lawson. The Lancashire-born independent artist is knocking on the door of a breakout year as Highest Point offers him one of his biggest stages yet. Thanks to his heartfelt songwriting packed with poignance and vulnerability, Lawson has already wooed outlets like BBC Radio 1 and Introducing and will gain plenty more admirers following his homecoming at Williamson Park.
If you’re into anthemic indie pop grappling with love, loss and an ever-changing world, you can see Lawson at the Main Stage on Saturday 11th May, and he’ll also be playing at The Big Family Day Out on Sunday 12th May.

West Midlands-based brotherly duo Craig and Grant Gordon initially played separately before deciding to team up to pursue a new and improved sound. As Us Two, the pair now produce and play addictive minimal house that takes you back kicking and screaming to the 90s and roaring into the future in the same set.
Skream, Joseph Capriati and Seb Zito are just some of the names to give their blessing to Us Two’s tracks, while their unmistakable influence from classic 90s house music make them accessible and enjoyable to a wide array of ages and audiences. They’ll be tearing it up at the Chris Glaba Memorial Stage on Saturday 11th May, making you think it’s 1995 all over again.
