When a festival has been founded by one of the UK's biggest dance duos, you know it's going to be a good one. Groove Armada began Lovebox as a resident club night in London, before branching out to Victoria Park for a two day event covering pretty much all bases when it comes to music.
Primarily focused on electronic, Lovebox boasts a DJ roster that rivals most festival line ups, but still offers up a fair share of live music, touching on grime, indie, experimental and hip-hop. Ahead of this year's Lovebox from Friday 15th - Saturday 16th July, we picked out five acts we think you should check out.
If you're looking for a feel-good set filled with disco groovers and dreamy vocals - Crazy P are your go-to act at this year's Lovebox. Fronted by Danielle Moore, the band are masters at merging underground house beats with shimmering disco moments in mesmerising style. You won't find a live act quite like these anywhere else. They play on the Corona Sunsets stage on the Saturday.

Supporting Nightmares on Wax on the Friday is Cold Tonic co-runner Krystal Klear. A regular at institutions like Fabric and a member of the now defunct Hoya:Hoya Manchester clubnights, Krystal Klear is genuinely gifted producer and DJ that couldn't care less about sticking to genres or styles.
His selections take in joyous selections from r&b and pop through to techno and deep house with an irreverent, unpretentious delivery. There's a guaranteed party with Krystal Klear at the controls, what else could you want from your Lovebox experience?

Dutch selector extraordinaire Tom Trago is a must see at any event. His years in the business and encyclopaedic knowledge of disco, house and techno make him a potent character behind the decks - his vinyl only set at Rush Hour HQ (above) is one of our go-to feel good DJ sets and his productions continually hit the spot.
Expect unrelenting smooth, sophisticated selections once he graces the Kopparberg Urban Forest on the Friday.

The captain of the mothership and funkmaster general will serve up a healthy portion of groovy goodness at Victoria Park this summer. Clinton can dip into the back catalogues of Parliament, Funkadelic and his solo career which contain some of the most sampled songs of all time. Fans of the g Funk era will feel their ears pricking with acknowledgement as they become one nation under a groove.

Back in the spotlight with a trio of singles, off-kilter pop trio Beaty Heart will follow up their 2014 debut with a new album in July. Citing ethereal soundscapes binded by tribal and genuinely captivating percussive elements, the singles - listen to 'Flora' above - suggest we're in for a cracking follow-up when Till The Tomb drops.
For just three guys, Beaty Heart conjure a sweet tropical platter for the ear drum - a sonic cleanse needed more than ever after a Friday night of raving.
