Set in 130 acres of landscaped gardens at Cardiff's Bute Park is X Music festival. Despite only being in it's second year, the festival has once again acquired the services of Annie Mac who helped get X Music off to a bang last summer.

The main stage comes equipped with the best light, pyrotechnic and special effects show in Cardiff including confetti cannons, flame machines and LED screens. Fortunately there was enough cash left over to book some acts and we've picked our top five.

Shy FX

What better way to enjoy the Cardiff sunshine than with the dub influenced sounds of Andre Williams a.k.a Shy FX. A drum and bass specialist by trade, Williams has also dropped some reggae tinged anthems such as 'Soon Come' which you can listen to above. His appearance on Friday will be the perfect start to an evening of quality dance music. Shy FX is certainly in demand this summer and will appear at We Are FSTVL, Detonate and Blissfields

Jackmaster

The ultimate party DJ, Glasgow's Jackmaster is a surefire festival highlight wherever he plays. With an encyclopaedic knowledge of past, present and future dance music, his sets traverse the best of bits from the acid house heyday to hot off the press bass music and techno, as heard in his classic Essential Mix above. Taps aff!

Stormzy

The grime MC is one of the most talked about artists in the world at the moment but is still yet to release his début album, such is the hype around him. New single 'Scary' gave us a taste of what is to come and behind the tracksuits and twitter beefs is a class performer so expect his Saturday appearance to be an explosive affair.

B.Traits

Having emerged from Shy FX's Digital Soundboy imprint a few years back, the Radio 1 presenter has gradually headed down a murky path of techno and blacklight bass music, staying as much on the eclectic and cutting edge as she has her whole career. Get your ears round her mind-bending set at Nightvision above to see why we're big fans.

Barely Legal

Another accomplished selector that cares little for being predictable - Barely Legal's supreme sets encompass everything from house to grime in a way that delivers maximum dancefloor impact. Past radio shows on Rinse, NTS and 1Xtra (listen to her Boiler Room set above) have underlined her position as one of the most intriguing DJs to have emerged in recent times, her X Music set is destined to be one of the weekend's highlights.
