Bass maestro Flea joined the celebrations surrounding basketball icon Kobe Bryant's retirement by playing the American national anthem as a bass solo.
Bryant's last ever game for the LA Lakers took place in front of 18,000 people at Los Angeles' Staples Centre last night (13th April) with Flea donning his famous bass in an echo of Jimi Hendrix's famous mauling of the Star Spangled Banner.
Kanye West also appeared court side paying tribute to Bryant with a t-shirt that imitated the Life of Pablo album cover.
