Hotly tipped to be one of the big names taking charge of the iconic Pyrmaid Stage at Worthy Farm next summer, it comes as bitter news to those lucky enough to have nabbed tickets that the legendary British rock group will not be headlining the festival this year.
The strong rumours were nipped in the bud by the band's drummer Mick Fleetwood on this morning's Chris Evans Radio Two show, much to the dismay of Glasto ticket holders.
Festival boss Michael Eavis also conceded: “Fleetwood Mac don't seem to be available at the moment", "but we've got three excellent headliners for next year.”
Fleetwood Mac will however be playing a series of UK dates in May and June next year. We'll let you know more as soon as we hear it. In the meantime, have a read of our editor's review of their gig last year to wet your whistle for 2015's tour. Head here for more on Glastonbury. Check out our Festival Guide here.
