Ahh, this brings back some good memories for me. High tailing it down to Wigan, just after passing my driving test, to dance all night to the sound of the (then) new dance sounds killing the clubs. Maximes was my haunt but others went to Wigan Pier.  This is like a who’s who of rave and could have been titled Now That Is What I Call Rave Vol 1. You name it, it’s on this LP.  Basically these three CD’s could replace my record collection from the early 90’s. There are the big hitters and the more subtle.  If you ever danced in a real club from 1990 to 1994 and miss the sounds of yester year this LP is for you - there are also some anthems that came out later on in the 90’s too.

It’s like the big hits of the 60’s and 70’s for our generation.  Wedding DJ’s playing to a stuck in the 90’s crowd will just have to take this with them in years to come and they will have the floor filled all night with just 3 shiny discs.

A lot of these records probably never even came out on CD at the time, so this is a worthwhile venture from that aspect alone. Aside from that, the tunes they have picked are all the good ones and the classics outweigh the cheese.  You have seen the ad’s on the TV, now get your self down to the local music provider, snap this up, get your hands in the air and don’t deny your past!
