With You're Dead!, the fifth album from LA based beat wizard Flying Lotus enjoying immense praise from right across the journalistic sphere, Steven Ellison has already established his work as a heavyweight contender for LP of the year.
As part of the album's release, Flying Lotus has embarked on his biggest US tour yet, which, thankfully for us, will be followed by a 2015 tour of Europe.
Just added to his European tour, which takes in Milan, Paris and London amongst a tonne of other places, is a must see live performance at Manchester's always on point Albert Hall on April 18th.
Brought to you by Now Wave - one of the leading lights in Manchester's live music scene, the night will showcase FlyLo's surreal, deranged, jazz fuelled ideals and intricate, complex electronics, packaged in hallucinogenic, toxic atmospherics - all the elements that have earmarked him as one of this generation's finest producers (witness that in 'Never Catch Me' with Kendrick Lamar above).
