Here at Skiddle we love seeing one of our own achieving any kind of success, and this weekend marks a momentous occasion for one of our beloved members of staff.
Taking to the Allotment Stage at Y Not on Friday 28th July and the House Party Stage at Kendal Calling on Sunday 30th July are Manchester rockers Sauce, who feature our festivals editor, Henry Lewis.
Henry is part songwriter, vocalist and guitarist in the band, along with drummer and singer George Stead, guitarist and singer Dean Molyneux and bass guitarist Lewis Rushton.
Combining psychedelic rock with Madchester grooves, Sauce are making a name for themselves with their thunderous riffs and monster choruses, and launched single 'Love Shocks' at a sold out Jimmy's earlier this year.
Last weekend saw them take on Sheffield's Rocking Chair as part of a This Feeling curated event at Tramlines Festival, delivering a mighty afternoon set as the band kicked off their first festival season in style.
You can catch the band in action at Y Not and Kendal Calling via our Snapchat (skiddleuk) and Instagram stories (@skiddleuk), which we will be running from Friday to Sunday, with plenty of other great acts in between.
