Comprised of three brothers - Bobby, Will and Jack - and their mate Spud (who they met in a skatepark), Strange Bones are a rave punk four-piece from Blackpool.
Surrounded by instruments and loud music as children, the brothers have been playing together for over a decade. Part of a rowdy emerging scene in the Lancashire seaside town, the band's new EP, Blitz Part 2 (released April 10th), has been bigged up by the likes of Kerrang, while Clash described the band as 'hitting harder than lightning'.
Frontman Bobby Bentham says: “Strange Bones is whatever the fuck you want it to be; your bailiff, the powder up the nose of the rich and famous, the PM’s shoe shine, cheap red wine.
"It’s a nervous task to explain yourself when you feel like an outcast in your own mind. Music is the only thing that makes me feel alive, it feels like a primitive urge. Creating a piece of music brings a feeling unparalleled to anything else I’ve ever experienced."
