Former Stones' bassist, Bill Wyman has been diagnosed with prostate cancer.
A statement on the 79 year old's twitter stated, “He is undergoing treatment and is expected to make a full recovery as it was caught in the early stages. The Wyman family has asked for their privacy during this time.”

Bill joined the band in 1962, and worked the airtight rhythm's alongside drummer Charlie Watts until 1993. Bill last appeared in the Stones' line up during the 50th anniversary shows at O2 Arena in 2012.
