Forum Birmingham celebrates 60 years with stacked events programme

With the new year just days away, one of the most iconic and influential music spaces are celebrating a milestone year. Forum Birmingham are set to celebrate 60 years of rich history with an unmissable new programme of events, including cutting-edge shows hosted by legendary brands commencing in January 2025, and you can sign up on their website right now. 

The first phase of events includes seminal parties and raves that draw on Birmingham’s rich musical history while showcasing new artists and concepts. Shows include acid house rave Fac51 - The Hacienda, a visit from Aussie legend Sonny Fodera, and belting shows from revered brands like HE.SHE.THEY., DnB All Stars, Live Nation, and LWE. Paired alongside the boundary-pushing brands and exciting talent are sophisticated new soundsystems courtesy of d&b Soundscape.

Since opening in 1964 as Top Rank Ballroom, the venue has undergone many name changes, from Hummingbird to Birmingham Academy, but remains a staple feature of Brummie nightlife.
