As always, there’s loads going on all over the country this weekend, with promoters pulling out all the stops to bring you some huge Bank Holiday line-ups.

This weekend sees the last of the Bank Holiday skives – for a couple of months at least.

So make the most of your extra day off and party hard this weekend, safe in the knowledge that you have a whole extra day to recover.

As always, there’s loads going on all over the country, with promoters pulling out all the stops to bring you some huge Bank Holiday line-ups.

London

Urban Nerds at The Scala
Saturday May 28th
One of London’s biggest underground party brands, Urban Nerds, celebrates its 4th birthday with their biggest ever rave. The night will see over 20 enormous acts including Doorly, MJ Cole, Ms Dynamite and more representing the finest in underground sounds; dubstep, electro, garage, grime and all things bass heavy, at the legendary King’s Cross nightspot. Audio Era presents Crookers at Ministry of Sound
Sunday May 29th
Italian duo Crookers take over the famous Box for Ministry of Sound’s new Audio Era night, with support from Sinden, Bart B More and Joe and Will Ask. Looking after 103 will be L-Vis 1990, Girl Unit, Hot City and more. Tickets are just £12.

Manchester

Compulsion
Saturday May 28th
After ten years away, the legendary dance event will return to its spiritual home of Bowlers on May 28th, with its biggest night and line-up to date. With four dance arenas, spectacular lighting and laser displays, visual projections and an outdoor area with fairground rides, Compulsion The Return will be more than worth the decade long wait. Eurocultured
Sunday 29th/Monday 30th May
Manchester’s favourite street festival is back for another year. Bank Holiday weekend  ees the area around Manchester's Oxford Road Station taken over by the colourful festival,  which was born in 2004 and inspired by the enlargement of the European Union. The party encompasses various bars and music venues in the area, with plenty going on out in the street to tie it all together.  A weekend ticket is just £10.

Leeds

BacktoBasics & Hipodrome  with John Digweed and Adam Beyer
Friday May 27th
BackToBasics join forces with newly founded soiree Hipodrome to bring techno stalwarts John Digweed and Adam Beyer back to Leeds on May 27th. Support comes from the BackToBasics faithful Tristan Da Cunha. Tickets cost £12.

Metropolis & Wax:On
Sunday May 29th
Metropolis and Wax:on continue their string of huge bass parties with a veritable wet dream of a line-up. Skream, Fake Blood, Sub Focus and Brodinski are just some of the acts lined up to help seal your Bank Holiday Monday hangover.  Tickets cost £17.50.

Cream Reunion
Sunday May 29th
Following on from the sell out success of the first event back in February, the official Cream Reunion is back bigger and better, with another chance to relive a magical era of Cream. The event has increasing capacity by moving into Nation's main room, and will be headlined by Seb Fontaine, joined by legendary vocalist Jan Johnston. Advance tickets are £12.50.

Circus
Sunday May 29th
Sasha, Yousef, Nina Kraviz and DJ Sneak lead a Bank Holiday line-up at The Masque on Sunday 29th May. Sasha remains one of the biggest draws in modern dance music, and each Circus performance from Sasha etches his name further into Liverpool’s clubbing folklore. This will be the first time he has played in the Theatre backed by the stunning power of the Funktion One sound system.
