Two of Liverpool's biggest clubbing authorities have come together to bring global techno ambassador Marco Carola to the eerie abandoned Newsham Park Hospital in Liverpool on 4th April, Bank Holiday Saturday.
Just when we thought Freeze's recent announcements couldn't be topped, with them releasing a quartet of outrageous line ups tailored for the Bombed Out Church, they revealed their partnership with Cream for Asylum and the illustrious heavyweight set to top their line up.
The Gothic site is set to become the backdrop for the 16 hour long mini festival that will span across two events. Part one of the event will be hosted in The Asylum, a former orphanage turned psychiatric ward with Carola at the helm.
The Napoli don has flown the flag for the country's thriving techno scene since the early 90s, and has established himself as one of the genres pivotal key players. Renowned for his relentless techno sets (check out his Awakenings performance above for a taste), Carola has held a residency at Cocoon and is also the mastermind behind Music On.
To secure your pre-sale tickets for Asylum, you have to register via Cream's website. General tickets go on sale Friday.
