We’re pleased to announce the full information about the venues involved for the Freeze presents Luciano and Friends showcase in Liverpool on Saturday 22nd June. Whilst the main event taking place at St Georges Hall has been the big news since it was announced earlier in the year, the final two components of the 15 hour showcase are now revealed and what a cracker it will be.
The pre party will be taking place in Heebie Jeebies, helmed by the LDMS DJs. The bar is one of Liverpool’s oldest and most loved venues, and the outside courtyard area of the venue utilised with a barbecue to ensure you get enough fuel to last the distance. The venue have also kindly promised to donate a share of the profits from the food and the drink towards Claire House, the charity for which the whole event is based upon. The fun kicks off at 3pm and ends at 6.30pm, giving you enough time to make your way to the St Georges’ histrionics.
At six o’clock is when the two roomed bonanza at St Georges begins, but there is a strict 8pm last entrance in force so please, if you’re coming, make sure you get there in advance of that. The main room will feature Argy and Freeze resident Jemmy as well as the man himself, Luciano, playing three hours. Skyland Mountain, Sankeys tyrant Jozef K and a soon to be announced special guest fly the flag in the second room. Unsure of what to expect from the production of Freeze? This video below gives you an insight into how far they go beyond the norm.
Then the afterparty takes place just round the corner in the 02 Academy, starting at midnight and rolling all the way too 6am. mUmU are the people behind the main room, with Reboot headlining alongside resident Lee Rands, and one or two special guests. Freeze’s brand new auxiliary night Little Sister begin their role as the afterparty du jour by hosting the second room (they are the brains behind putting Michael Mayer on in the Kazimer in July), where resident Adele Moss will be joined by Ernesto Ferrerya and 3B's Adam Helliwell.
There are some tickets available for both the entire event and the afterparty alone now on the site, but with Freeze already set to sell more tickets than they’ve ever done at any event previously, and marginally over a fortnight left on the clock, don’t expect them to be around for long.
