A few weeks ago we zoned in on Egg's Saturday roster, which yet again highlighted Egg's importance to the underground club scene in London. This week we look ahead to what's happening at the club on Fridays over the next few months.
Egg entice a wicked line up of underground techno and house music to kick things off. Hot Creations affiliate wAFF will be in the driving seat, equipped with an arsenal of grooving house numbers and techno rollers that he is known for.
One half of hardware technoists Dense & Pika - Glimpse joins the line up too (check out his blinding mix above), with the brothers Brodanse rounding off the four to the floor action.
Kurv return after a blistering start to their career, with another blinding garage flavoured, bass wise line up in tow. Diynamic Music favourite Stimming heads up proceedings.
Having been drawn into electronic musc through the likes of Grooverider and DJ Krush before converting to techno, Stimming is an almighty live DJ, with his sets taking in an exciting array of varying influences with unbridle rave inducing results. UK Garage veteran MJ Cole, super eclectic upstart Deadboy and Brazilian deep house duo Digitaria round off a supremely impressive second outing for Kurv.
Deeply sensual beat sculptor and Crosstown Rebels favourite Deniz Kurtel hits the London venue on the 7th of March, with label mate and local lass done good Francesca Lombardo joining her. Both are known for their exuberant, open minded approach to dance music, resulting in sets that are joyously wide ranging, and fiercely unique. It's no wonder that scene leaders like Marco Carola and Loco Dice are champions of their sound.
It's no secret that Circus' London residency is one of the hottest house music parties in the capital. Yousef's upfront driving house has for some time now been destroying dance floors across the globe, and his London and Liverpool rave ups have become a flagship for that sound.
The 14th March sees Yousef joined by one of the most iconic figures in the scene - Laurent Garnier, and the darklord of deeply addictive house Steve Lawler. This one is looking mighty.
One of the new breed of internationally acclaimed electronic music - Alexis Raphael to the Egg Presents... bill on March 21st. After toiling away as a DJ in London's fiercely fought scene since the 90's, Alexis has perpetually proven himself as an extremely accomplished behind a pair of decks, but its his recent work with the industry leading Hot Waves that has seen his prominence rise exponentially.
Now being drafted in to headline festivals like Outbreak, Alexis Raphael is one of London's proudest international exports. Party primed duo Krankbrother provide support, with more guests to be announced.
Egg invite another Hot Creations stalwart through their doors on April 11th, London based Infinity Ink. Luca C and Ali Love have been working together for some time, initially starting out in a 70s acoustic rock band.
Their conversion to the sounds of deep house have yielded untold results though, as both 'Games' on Hot Creations and more recently 'Infinity' (above) on Crosstown Rebels have announced the arrival of a devilishly talented DJing and production team.
